The Museu Zer0 has been trying to raise awareness and develop partnerships with the region's educational establishments, from the University of the Algarve to the School Groups, in order to promote practices that encourage cross-fertilisation and inter- and transdisciplinary complementarities in all the educational areas included in the STEAM concept.
STEAM is a methodology that seeks to combine Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths subjects in teaching practices, a method that ties in perfectly with our commitment to fostering a sensitivity to the arts and culture in any subject, particularly those that are perfectly suited to training teachers and students in the field of tools to support artistic creation in digital art.
Having already had an enriching experience with very interesting results, contributing to the incorporation of digital art into the teaching techniques of secondary school subjects, through our involvement in an Erasmus+ project, the Museu Zer0 is looking for new partnerships to take arts and culture as an integral part of transdisciplinary teaching practices, also seeking to learn from other teaching methods at European level.
Following the example of joint initiatives already carried out with the Cineclube de Faro, the LAC, the República 14 association and the Casa do Povo de Moncarapacho, the Museu Zer0 is committed to programming and carrying out joint initiatives with the widest possible range of organisations at regional level.
