Introducing and publicising digital art

Educating for the Arts

One of the Museu Zer0's main aims is to raise awareness of digital art through practical activities and talks with digital art artists, workshops and seminars in school groups and cultural associations in the Algarve.

Chatting to Digital Art

A conversation with artists involved in digital art. Students can get to know their work first-hand, emphasising the use of digital processes. Henrique Vieira Ribeiro, Miguel Neto, André Sier, Rodrigo Gomes, D1g1t0_indivíduo coletivo, Rudolfo Quintas, Miguel Carvalhais and Pedro Tudela have participated as guest artists.

What is Digital Art?

Students will learn a little about the history of this genre of contemporary art and what defines it.

STEAM betting

The Museu Zer0 has been trying to raise awareness and develop partnerships with the region's educational establishments, from the University of the Algarve to the School Groups, in order to promote practices that encourage cross-fertilisation and inter- and transdisciplinary complementarities in all the educational areas included in the STEAM concept.

STEAM is a methodology that seeks to combine Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths subjects in teaching practices, a method that ties in perfectly with our commitment to fostering a sensitivity to the arts and culture in any subject, particularly those that are perfectly suited to training teachers and students in the field of tools to support artistic creation in digital art.
