Exhibitions and Cultural Planning Manager

Museu Zer0 is looking for a dynamic and highly organised professional to join its team and take charge of coordinating its artistic and exhibition projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic planning for exhibitions (set-up, display and dismantling);
  • Budget management;
  • Logistics coordination, including the transport of construction materials and stock management;
  • Preparing and monitoring condition reports and facility reports in connection with the receipt, installation and return of artworks, as well as in the negotiation of loans with other institutions;
  • Ensuring appropriate conditions for the conservation, handling and safety of the artworks throughout the entire exhibition cycle;
  • Coordination with curators, artists, technical staff and suppliers;
  • Monitoring schedules and ensuring deadlines are met.
Desired Profile
  • Master’s degree in Cultural Management, Art History, History, Museology, Visual Arts or related fields;
  • Proven experience in organising and planning exhibitions or art projects;
  • Knowledge of preventive conservation practices and the handling of works of art;
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving ability;
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Excel);
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages would be an advantage).
