The Museu Zer0 presents the exhibition Viagens at the Ermida de São Roque, a space where we have been presenting digital art since 2020, thanks to the support of the Municipality of Tavira.
Between 18 August and 22 September, six artists will present their artefacts, produced under the guidance of Luís Fernandes and the Ondamarela collective, as a result of the POCETP-Magalhães cross-border project, in which the Museu Zer0 is a partner.
The artists Flymoustache, Marlon Duarte, Mateus Verde, Nuno Murta, Ricardo Cruzes and Rodrigo Gomes, present 6 works of digital art, 6 journeys that you can take with us, journeys through the landscape and territory of the Algarve, where we can discover different artistic and aesthetic interpretations, from Algarve legends to the Ria Formosa.
Created using instruments made from materials found in nature, capturing the identity of places like Alte, Sagres and Tavira through their own sonorities, representing the idyllic and natural Algarve in conjunction with its reverse, or through a journey made using Artificial Intelligence as a way of "contemplating our own history, exploring possible futures and reflecting on unrealised pasts" through these works.
We invite you to travel with us through the territory and discover the unknown.
